Kubra Commander started as a solo project of Bobbi Olvido (Sunday Sunday, Snubear). After releasing his debut album “Vagrant Up” working with a rotating cast of collaborators, the group evolved into a full band and soonafter released two new singles.
The band dabbles in various musical textures – what some in the press have called “float rock” and what others might consider “psych rock”. Regardless of comparisons, however, Kubra Commander continues to create music at their own whim – exploring and, most importantly, having a whole lot of fun.
