Coloura just dropped a new music video, “GF”, directed by Kyle Cua.

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Pop rock band Coloura has just released a fresh new track called “GF” on May 30. The song is now available on all major digital music platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube music, and more.

The band describes “GF” as a “coming-of-age” story, following the story of a boy becoming overly attached to a “cool” girl only to be rejected upon confessing his feelings for her. Vocalist and primary songwriter Jake Russel Relacion admits the narrative took root in a dream he once had.

Alternative and pop rock greats like Busted and Wheatus were heavy influences on the sound the band decided to take on this new track, which is the third single released off their current album campaign.

A music video directed by Kyle Cua accompanies the track and brings the story to life. The video stars the band members and Cyndrelle Rubie in lead roles with a guest appearance by Ana Geverola. Set to premiere on Coloura’s YouTube channel on June 6, the video was premiered exclusively to the cast and crew, close friends and supporters, and members of the press on June 4.

In addition to the music video premiere, Coloura unveiled for the first time the release date for their upcoming self-titled album. “Coloura”, the band’s first full-length release, is set to drop on August 22.
