Kim Trinidad

Kim Trinidad is a singer-songwriter and producer who was born and raised in Iligan City, Philippines, and is currently based in Australia. She is arguably best known for her work with indie rock band Loop as the primary songwriter and lead vocalist and guitarist for the band, which inevitably took the Philippine indie scene by storm starting in the mid-2010s. The band’s unique and beloved sound takes root in Kim Trinidad’s songwriting, which can easily be described as unabashedly confessional.

Before and while performing with Loop, Trinidad has likewise found her own success as a solo performer, most recently releasing tracks such as Between (2018) and When You Know (2022). Her upcoming album, Blinders, set to be released on March 14, 2025, is the culmination of a fulfilling journey of self-discovery for Trinidad, as she navigated the challenges of working on her own to produce some of her most revelatory work yet.
